Remote process termination via unchecked checksum index
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Improper array-index validation in Temporal Technologies tchannel-go before 1.22.1 allows remote attackers to terminate hosting processes. The inbound call-frame parser accepts an unsupported one-byte checksum type and uses it to index a four-entry checksum pool, triggering an unrecovered Go panic. Exploitation requires network access to an exposed listener and completion of the normal initialization handshake; mutually authenticated transport blocks unauthenticated peers before parsing.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
