CVE-2026-65641Network attack vector

Service-account credential exposure via coerced SMB authentication

Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026

Forced SMB authentication in Veeam ONE 13 through 13.1.0.7034 allows remote attackers to expose service-account authentication material. An attacker-controlled network request causes the service account to initiate SMB authentication, but Veeam has not disclosed the affected component or request field. No authentication or user interaction is required, and captured NTLM material can expose the service account; the public code path remains undisclosed.
