Authenticated router crash via unchecked param copy
Published Apr 19, 2026 · Updated Apr 19, 2026
Buffer overflow in H3C Magic B1 100R004 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router or execute code through its Web interface. SetAPWifiorLedInfoById copies the param value from POST requests to /goform/aspForm without enforcing a length limit, overflowing its destination buffer. Web-management credentials are required, and WAN management is disabled by default; the public request demonstrates the overflow path but not code execution.
