Authenticated file read via unguarded temp export
Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026
Path traversal in SiYuan before 3.7.2 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary host files through the /export/temp/ route. The serveExport short-circuit joins the percent-decoded request path to util.TempDir and serves the result without containment or sensitive-path checks. A valid access authorization is required; traversal escapes TempDir and exposes files readable by the SiYuan process.
