Author-level stored XSS via unescaped page content
Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in HashThemes Demo Importer 1.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages. The plugin accepts author-controlled page content without sufficient input sanitization and later renders it without adequate output escaping. Author-level access and a victim opening an injected page are required, causing attacker-supplied JavaScript to run in the victim's browser.
