Gated-content access via unauthenticated subscriber cookies
Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026
Missing authorization in Kit for WordPress 3.3.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to access tag-gated member content. Member Content accepts a subscriber identity stored in a cookie after an embedded Kit form submission instead of requiring authentication before evaluating tag-based access. Any site exposing tag-gated content without enforced login is remotely reachable without a WordPress account, and the consequence is limited to unauthorized access to that protected content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
