Privileged actions via forged authenticated requests
Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Nexcess GiveWP 4.16.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger actions through a logged-in user. GiveWP's 4.16.4 changelog names added validation in the core settings importer, but neither it nor Patchstack identifies the endpoint, parameter, or missing check. Exploitation requires a privileged user to open a crafted link or page, and the resulting action is limited to that user's permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
