Unauthenticated reflected XSS via unescaped restore messages

Reflected XSS in the Restore page of WP Media BackWPup 5.7.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via crafted messages. Shared restore JavaScript passes response messages into jQuery.append after raw string concatenation, so attacker-controlled markup is parsed as HTML instead of text. Successful exploitation requires a privileged user to open a crafted link or page; the script runs in that user’s WordPress browser context and can access or alter data available to that session.
