Credential exposure in Regular Labs GeoIP 1.0.0 through 6.3.8 allows remote attackers to obtain MaxMind credentials from request URLs. GeoIP database-update requests place configured MaxMind credentials in their URLs, but the vendor has not named the responsible function. Exposure occurs when a configured site synchronizes the MaxMind database; the published record reports disclosure only, not data modification or service interruption.
