CVE-2026-65360

System termination via kernel state race

Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026

A kernel race condition in affected Apple operating systems allows local users running an app to cause unexpected system termination. Apple identifies faulty state handling in a kernel race but has not published the affected function, state transition, or triggering sequence. An attacker must execute an app locally; successful triggering crashes the operating system without reported data exposure or modification.
