Application crash via zlib decompression

Improper sequential memory allocation in Wireshark 4.4.0 through 4.4.14 and 4.6.0 through 4.6.4 allows attackers to crash the application. The project identifies the zlib decompressor in the dissection engine as the crash locus but has not published the failing allocation sequence. Triggering requires Wireshark to dissect attacker-controlled compressed packet data, and the bounded consequence is an application crash.
