Browser crash via maliciously crafted WebKit content
Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Memory corruption in WebKit in Safari before 26.6.1 allows remote attackers to crash the browser via maliciously crafted web content. Apple has disclosed only that WebKit mishandles internal state during content processing, not the affected function or invalid memory operation. Exploitation requires a user to process attacker-controlled web content, and the documented consequence is an unexpected Safari crash rather than data access or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
