CVE-2026-65313

Engineering workstation access via hard-coded VNC password

Published Jul 31, 2026 · Updated Jul 31, 2026

Hard-coded credentials in ANDRITZ HIPASE-250 7.20 and earlier allow remote attackers to access engineering workstations through VNC. The workstation provisioning script assigns the same fixed password to x11vnc on every system it configures instead of generating a unique credential. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and knowledge of the shared password, which grants interactive access to the affected workstation.
