CVE-2026-65197Network attack vector

Malicious firmware installation via replaceable verification key

Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 13, 2026

Firmware verification bypass in H3C HDM 6.14.01 allows remote authenticated users to install malicious images via Redfish. In the supplied Family-A finding, UpdateService.UploadSignKey overwrites /conf/public.pem with uploaded content after checking only the filename suffix, and image verification trusts that mutable key. Administrator or firmware-update privilege is required; the observation covers G5 Family-A without PFR, broader G3/G5 applicability remains unconfirmed, and HDM2 is outside the finding.
