CVE-2026-65164Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Arbitrary file overwrite via archive member path traversal

Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 13, 2026

Path traversal in NVIDIA AIStore dSort 4.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite files via crafted archive members. The archive extraction component uses attacker-controlled member names without confining output paths to the intended directory, enabling arbitrary file creation or overwrite. Exploitation requires a dSort job to process the crafted archive on Linux; code execution is a reported downstream impact.
