CVE-2026-6494Network attack vector

Log forgery via unsanitized route parameter

Published Apr 17, 2026 · Updated Apr 17, 2026

Log injection in the AAP MCP server in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2 allows remote attackers to forge log entries via toolsetroute. All six toolset-specific endpoints pass toolsetroute directly to console.log() without neutralizing newlines, tabs, or ANSI escape sequences. No authentication is required; forged entries can hide legitimate activity and present deceptive commands or URLs to an operator.
