Unauthenticated system disclosure via detailed health endpoint
Published Apr 17, 2026 · Updated Apr 17, 2026
Information disclosure in Hotel Booking Management System allows remote attackers to read host and database details without authentication. The /api/health/detailed GET handler returns platform, architecture, Node.js version, PID, resource usage, uptime, and MongoDB connection details without applying JWT middleware. A network-reachable backend is sufficient; the response supports infrastructure reconnaissance but does not grant data modification or service interruption.
