Code execution via VobSub queue overflow

Heap buffer overflow in FFmpeg 2.1 through 8.1.2 allows attackers to corrupt memory by processing a crafted VobSub subtitle file. In libavformat/mpeg.c, vobsub_read_header() accepts more distinct stream IDs than the fixed vobsub->q[] array holds, and ff_subtitles_queue_insert() writes past its end. Successful exploitation requires an application or user to process the subtitle file and results in a process crash or arbitrary code execution within that process.
