Account impersonation via trusted forwarded IP headers
Published Jul 22, 2026 · Updated Jul 22, 2026
Authentication bypass in Regular Labs IP Login 1.0.0 through 6.2.5 allows remote attackers to impersonate IP-mapped Joomla accounts. The plugin accepts attacker-controlled forwarded client-IP headers as the authentication address without requiring a configured trusted proxy. Exploitation requires an account mapped to the spoofed IP and grants that account's Joomla privileges.
