CVE-2026-64749

Kernel memory corruption via undisclosed memory mishandling

Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026

Memory corruption in the Apple kernel allows local users to corrupt kernel memory or terminate iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS through an app. Apple has not disclosed the affected kernel routine or the memory-handling operation that mishandles app-controlled input. Exploitation requires a user to run an app, after which the bounded reported consequences are kernel-memory corruption or unexpected system termination.
