Sensitive-data disclosure via crafted contact processing
Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Information disclosure in Contacts across affected Apple operating systems allows attackers to leak sensitive data via a crafted contact. Apple states only that improved checks correct the Contacts flaw and has not disclosed the code locus or the invalid operation performed on contact data. Exploitation requires a user to process the crafted contact locally, and the published impact is limited to sensitive-data disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
