System crash via kernel use after free
Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Kernel use after free in Apple iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS before 26.6 allows local users to crash the system. The kernel accesses memory after its object has been freed, but Apple has not identified the affected function, object, or lifetime error. Execution of an app on an affected device is required, and Apple reports system termination without reporting data access or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
