A kernel use-after-free in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS allows local users to crash the system through an app. The kernel continues to use an object after its memory is freed, but Apple has not disclosed the affected routine or the app-controlled operation that reaches the stale object. Execution of an app on the device is required, and Apple reports unexpected system termination as the consequence.
