Terminal escape injection in GitHub CLI before 2.97.0 allows attackers to manipulate terminal output or execute commands via crafted content. Affected command paths copy attacker-influenced raw bodies, diffs, assets, logs, skill files, and task streams to standard output or a pager without neutralizing escape sequences. Exploitation requires a user to run an affected command and a terminal emulator that interprets the injected sequence; consequences range from display manipulation to command execution.
