Authenticated SSRF via unpinned download retry
Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026
Server-side request forgery in AVideo from commit 0dbadbca through latest master allows remote authenticated users to reach internal URLs. downloadVideoFromDownloadURL retries ssrfPinnedFetchToFile with a null resolved IP after a pinned fetch fails, enabling redirects without revalidation. An account able to invoke encoder download-by-URL can cause internal GET requests and retrieve binary responses accepted as stored media.
