CVE-2026-64625Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via execAsync shell re-parsing

Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026

OS command injection in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo before 29.0 allows remote attackers to execute commands through the Live plugin. execAsync embeds the escaped command inside double-quoted sh -c text, leaving $() and backtick command substitution active. The on_publish.php route is reachable without authentication, and injected commands run with the AVideo service account's operating-system permissions.
