Print-job abort via missing libpng recovery

Denial of service in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 through 10 allows remote attackers to abort image print jobs with malformed PNG input. The _cfImageReadPNG function creates a libpng reader with null error handlers and no setjmp recovery frame, causing parse errors to call abort(). The attacker must be able to submit to an image-filter queue; the filter respawns, so the CUPS service remains stable while the current job fails.
