CVE-2026-64547Hinoki check available

Memory disclosure and crash via unchecked packet length

Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in the Linux kernel net1080 driver allows adjacent attackers to disclose kernel memory or crash the host. For even packet_len values, net1080_rx_fixup reads skb->data[packet_len] before verifying that the advertised length is smaller than the received skb. Exploitation requires a malicious NetChip 1080 peer on an established USB host-to-host link; the one-byte oracle exposes heap contents, while guard-page or hardened-kernel faults can panic the system.
