Unauthenticated booking approval via skipped token validation
Published May 2, 2026 · Updated May 2, 2026
Improper authorization in Amelia 2.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to approve waiting bookings through WordPress admin-ajax. ApproveBookingRemotelyCommandHandler short-circuits token validation when a booking has waiting status, so a forged token reaches the approval operation. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation changes only a waiting booking to approved, with no reported data disclosure or service interruption.
