CVE-2026-64461

Reduced availability via leaked PCIe IRQ domains

Published Jul 25, 2026 · Updated Jul 25, 2026

Resource leakage in the Linux kernel MediaTek PCIe driver allows local users to reduce availability by triggering a port-enable failure. When mtk_pcie_enable_port() fails, mtk_pcie_port_free() frees the port but omits teardown of IRQ domains created by mtk_pcie_init_irq_domain(). Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and the affected MediaTek PCIe probe-error path; no confidentiality or integrity impact is reported.
