Subscriber-level TikTok credential disclosure via unchecked AJAX
Published May 2, 2026 · Updated May 2, 2026
Credential exposure in the bPlugins Social Feeds Embedder plugin through 1.0.4 allows remote authenticated users to retrieve TikTok OAuth tokens. The get_accounts() handler for the ttp_get_accounts AJAX action returns the entire ttp_tiktok_accounts WordPress option without a capability check or nonce verification. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to obtain administrator-connected access and refresh tokens and impersonate the site owner through the TikTok API.
