CVE-2026-64454

Local denial of service via IRQ-disabled disconnect callback

Published Jul 25, 2026 · Updated Jul 25, 2026

Denial of service in the Linux kernel DWC3 USB gadget driver allows local users to trigger a kernel panic during gadget suspend. dwc3_gadget_suspend() holds dwc->lock with interrupts disabled, while dwc3_disconnect_gadget() uses plain spin unlock and lock operations before invoking a disconnect callback that can sleep. Reachability requires the DWC3 gadget suspend path and a sleepable disconnect callback; the bounded consequence is system instability or a kernel panic.
