CVE-2026-6437Network attack vector

Authenticated filesystem mount manipulation via comma injection

Published Apr 17, 2026 · Updated Apr 17, 2026

Argument injection in AWS EFS CSI Driver 3.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to apply arbitrary mount options. NodePublishVolume passes unsanitized Access Point IDs from volumeHandle and mounttargetip values into a mount option list, where commas split attacker input into additional options. PersistentVolume creation permission is required, and the selected options are applied to the filesystem mount without authorization.
