CVE-2026-64322

Kernel memory corruption via misvalidated sparing-table length

Published Jul 25, 2026 · Updated Jul 25, 2026

Out-of-bounds access in the Linux UDF filesystem allows local users to corrupt kernel memory by mounting a crafted disk image. The malformed reallocationTableLen passes a byte-count bounds check, then udf_get_pblock_spar15() and udf_relocate_blocks() index it as eight-byte entries. The image must be mounted locally; successful access can disclose adjacent kernel data, corrupt memory, or crash the host.
