Stored XSS via broken video attribute quoting
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Stored XSS in a3 Lazy Load 2.7.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script through crafted video markup. The _filter_videos() method uses a class-replacement regex that consumes a closing quote in a crafted video src value, while admin/views/form-data.php outputs the result without escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which runs in the browser of any user, including an administrator, who views the post.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
