Local freed-memory access via premature mode-buffer free

Use-after-free in Linux Kernel fbdev allows local users to trigger freed-memory access via framebuffer mode selection on affected branches. In fb_find_mode(), name aliases mode_option_buf, which is freed before the dangling alias is passed to name_matches(). Reaching the flaw requires local access to an enabled framebuffer path; public records establish no specific crash, disclosure, write, or privilege gain.
