Out-of-bounds read via malformed DSB bounds validation
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in DASYLab before 2026.0.0 allows attackers to expose process memory through a crafted .DSB file. The DSB parser inadequately validates user-supplied structure data and reads beyond the bounds of its allocated data structure. Exploitation requires an attacker to induce a user to open the file; no network service path is identified.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
