Battery damage via forced unsupported charging limit

Improper charging control in Linux Kernel 6.19 allows local users to permanently damage batteries on some older Uniwill laptops. The uniwill-acpi driver lets the force module parameter bypass its DMI model check and exposes a charging-threshold interface even when the device firmware does not safely implement that control. Exploitation requires local access with permission to load or configure the driver on affected hardware; the resulting battery damage can be permanent.
