CVE-2026-64128

Host crash via uninitialized Bluetooth ISO buffer

Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026

NULL pointer dereference in the Linux Kernel allows physically proximate attackers to crash affected hosts via a malformed Bluetooth ISO frame. The ISO_END branch of iso_recv() passes conn->rx_skb to skb_put when no ISO_START initialized the receive buffer, dereferencing NULL and causing a kernel oops. BIS receivers synchronize without pairing, so any nearby broadcaster can interrupt the host by transmitting ISO_END first on a fresh ISO connection.
