Kernel-address disclosure via stack-pointer PDU copy
Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026
Information disclosure in Linux Kernel allows local users to obtain a kernel stack address through a paired Bluetooth L2CAP peer. The l2cap_ecred_reconfigure() path passes sizeof(pdu) and &pdu after pdu became a pointer, so skb_put_data() copies pointer storage into the request body instead of the six-byte payload. A local user must trigger reconfiguration on a connected extended-flow-control socket and control the paired peer; the malformed request also breaks reconfiguration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
