CVE-2026-64097

Kernel memory disclosure via oversized GPIO table

Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in the AMDGPU display parser in affected Linux Kernel releases allows local users to read beyond the mapped VBIOS image. The get_gpio_i2c_info() and bios_parser_get_gpio_pin_info() functions derive a gpio_pin[] count from table_header.structuresize after GET_IMAGE() validates only the header. Low-privileged local access and AMDGPU Display Core processing of an oversized VBIOS GPIO table are required; iteration then exposes adjacent data.
