Kernel memory disclosure via unchecked FF-A message bounds
Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in the Linux Kernel Arm FF-A driver allows attackers to disclose kernel memory via malformed firmware messages. handle_fwk_notif_callbacks trusts offset and size fields from the shared RX buffer when kmemdup copies a framework notification, permitting reads beyond the buffer or an oversized allocation. Reachability requires a malicious or compromised FF-A sender partition or firmware; processing is automatic and can expose adjacent kernel memory, exhaust memory, or crash the host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
