Kernel memory compromise via premature sockopt exposure

Race condition in affected Linux Kernel releases allows local users to read or modify kernel memory or crash the system through ebtables. The ebtables_init function exposes its setsockopt and getsockopt handlers before registering per-network-namespace state, so concurrent calls can treat an invalid net_generic value as a pointer. Exploitation requires CAP_NET_ADMIN, obtainable in an unprivileged user namespace, and winning the module-load race; successful access can corrupt kernel state or cause an oops or panic.
