CVE-2026-64025Network attack vector

Remote memory corruption via kTLS queue use-after-free

Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026

Use-after-free in Linux Kernel allows remote attackers to corrupt kernel memory or crash a configured host via crafted TLS records. sk_psock_verdict_data_ready drains sk_receive_queue without advancing copied_seq, leaving a stale, potentially freed skb for tls_decrypt_sg to traverse. Reachability requires BPF_SK_SKB_VERDICT sockmap insertion before kTLS RX setup on a server that accepts attacker-controlled TLS traffic.
