Kernel stack disclosure via unchecked VDO count

Information disclosure in the Linux Kernel USB Type-C DisplayPort alternate mode allows physically proximate attackers to read kernel stack data. The DisplayPort alternate-mode VDM handler accepts a Status Update VDO without requiring the expected object count, then reads and transmits bytes from an incompletely initialized stack buffer. Exploitation requires a connected malicious or malfunctioning USB-C DisplayPort device; the upstream record establishes stack-data disclosure but no data modification.
