CVE-2026-6396Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Settings modification via missing AJAX nonce verification

Published Apr 22, 2026 · Updated Apr 22, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in WebArea Fast & Fancy Filter – 3F 1.2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter WordPress settings. The saveFields() handler for the fff_save_settins AJAX action accepts state-changing requests without verifying a WordPress nonce, enabling filter-setting changes, arbitrary option updates, and new filter posts. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to follow a malicious link or perform another action that submits the forged request.
