Stored cross-site scripting via missing nonce validation
Published May 20, 2026 · Updated May 20, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Sentence To SEO 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts via forged admin requests. The create_admin_page() function persists settings-page parameters without correctly validating a WordPress nonce, allowing injected script to execute when the settings page renders. Exploitation requires an administrator's browser to submit the forged request; the bounded effects are stored script execution and plugin-setting changes.
