System crash via undersized USB endpoint buffers

Memory corruption in the Linux Kernel digi_acceleport driver allows physically proximate attackers to crash systems via a malicious USB device. The driver's attach path accepts bulk-out endpoint buffers smaller than its fixed command and output requirements, after which write operations access beyond the allocated buffers. Exploitation requires connecting a device that reports crafted endpoint sizes; the established consequences are out-of-bounds access and slab corruption, with no demonstrated code execution.
