Improper privilege management in IBM Turbonomic Prometurbo Agent 8.16.0 through 8.17.6 allows local users to read cluster secrets. Its Kubernetes ClusterRole and ClusterRoleBinding grant the Prometurbo operator unrestricted cluster-wide secret access instead of least-privilege access. Exploitation requires control of the operator or its service account and exposes credentials that enable privilege escalation and cluster compromise.
