Unspecified impact via incomplete QDMA TX cleanup
Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026
Incomplete cleanup in the Airoha Ethernet driver in Linux Kernel 6.11 and later allows attackers to cause unspecified impact via unspecified vectors. The airoha_qdma_cleanup_tx_queue() routine fails to reset DMA TX descriptors or align TX_DMA_IDX with TX_CPU_IDX, so the NIC is not told that the transmit ring is empty. Exposure requires the Airoha Ethernet driver and queue cleanup; Linux has not published a concrete security consequence or attacker-controlled trigger.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
